Reaching those milestones!

Lola can now sit up (with a fall now and then) and is working on her crawling skills! She pushes herself up and wants to go, she just can"t quite connect it yet! She is also waving hi/bye with her left hand! What a big girl!

A day at with the in-laws

I was so lucky on Saturday and got to spend the day with my mother and sister-in-laws making arts and crafts at church, the theme was Christmas! It was such a relaxing time and I got to release some creative energy at the same time! When I came home my house was clean and all the laundry was done! I have a great husband!!! The "look what I did" sign is going to go in Kyan's room under the picture that Uncle Michael made for him. Kyan knows when I throw out his pictures now from Rennie's - so this way I won't get busted, he can hang them all up! Our fridge is almost out of room! I got inspired to make some other things, I just have to get in touch with the lady and check her website (signnbysage.com) to see what she has! She also does custom made stuff too, so you can have her print off any sticker you want! Anybody in if I have a "sign making" party?

Messy

Lola loves to eat her baby food - even though she makes a giant mess - but it seems like only for mommy! She gives Chad the blank stare when he tries to feed her and then she just cries! So 9 times out of 10 mommy does the baby food feedings! She would prefer to eat vegetables (esp. sweet potatoes and squash) over fruits any time of the day!

BOO!

Grandpa Michael LOVES to scare the crap out of the grand kids...but they love to play his game! We were over at my sister-in-laws house last weekend for the adoption party of her two little ones and they played hide-and-go-scare with grandpa! It was a great way to end the evening! Kyan crashed out as soon as we were in the car! They had so much fun!

Two Monkeys Jumping on the Bed

Lola is mesmerized by her big brother! They can do the simplest of things together and she is hooked! Chad had them jumping on the bed last night and they were both belly laughing! We are so lucky that Kyan is such a great big bro! He is incredibly patient and understanding of her and will help out with anything that she needs! Lola loves being around Kyan and will do anything for his attention!
