So this year was a year of firsts for four young ladies...their first Christmas for sure, BUT more importantly, their first GIRLS ONLY Christmas Party! My girlfriend Candis and her daughter Camden were the fabulous hosts of the party. On the guest list were: Lola and myself, Susie and Jayla, and Camille and Avery! There are so many pictures, but I felt it necessary to include ALL of them!
The headbands you ask? A present from Lola to her little girlfriends! Thank you to Jayla and Avery for the new shirts and dress! Thank you to Camden for the new little snuggle blankie that was made especially for Lola! She already loves it! Candis and I decided to make each others gifts for the girls this year (and it will be our tradition from here on out with everyone!) Everyone has a year to plan something to make now!
So sit back and enjoy the party! Some of the pictures I wondered what was going through their little heads (so I added what I thought they might have been thinking!)

Jayla - "OMG!!! So you are saying that THAT is on my head too?"

Jayla - "Auntie Candis, no matter how hard you try, I will rip this thing off my head the first chance that I get!"
Camden - "Oh boy, what is my daddy going to think about this?"
Avery - "They think that I am so little that they can just put whatever they want on my head...hmmmfff, I'll show them soon enough!"

This was incredibly had to get them all to look at the camera and be happy and put together at the same time! That is what makes these pics so fun though! I love all of these little girls!
The girls are watching the Cardinals game above them, I think that they both caught a glimpse of Larry Fitzgerald!
Camden - "Girl, where did you get those jeans!?"
It's a bird, it's a plane - NO! It's super Camden!
Lola and Jayla both have pink pets - Lola's being a piggy and Jayla's a kitty! Looks like Jayla spotted what she thinks might be hers!

Awwwww...poor Lola! Little Piggy got stolen! Only temporarily though! Mama Susie gave it back!
Lola - "Mom, really, you got to get over this picture taking thing! I can only take so much!"
Avery - "Can't wait til I get big enough to fit in their clothes!"
Jayla and Lola - "NO Camden, don't tell on us! We'll be in SO much trouble if you do!"
All three of them together - "Nothing mommies! Don't worry about us! We're not causing any trouble! You have a few years before that happens!"
I am pretty sure that Camden just got telling a funny joke and Lola is cracking up from it!
Kyan got a new digital kid camera for Christmas and was so proud of all the 100 photos he took! He picked these two as his favorites...daddy of course at his happy place! Good job Kyan, on your way to a photography future for sure!
Oh, the empty tub! How Lola loved playing in it! I set her in this to try and contain her (literally!) and get some things put away in the kitchen! She had a blast and didn't want to get out when it was time to put the Christmas decorations away! Speaking of those Christmas decorations, they NEVER would have got put away had it not been for my mama! I was planning on continuing Christmas for another 6 months or so, but she was not having any of it! She came over and helped put everything away! She even carried our messy tree outside! THANK YOU MOM!
Lola is discovering all sorts of new foods to love, one of them being crackers! She gnaws them with her teeth and eats them right up! Another new food that she loves is doughnuts! Grandma and Grandpa bought some to eat on Christmas morning and Lola polished off about 1/4 of the doughnut at one time!
Another one of those posts that one day my kids will hate me for! And yet, another one that I just couldn't resist posting! I love their little booties! Bath time is so much fun to watch the two of them play together! They get a lot of brother/sister bonding time in!
