Lola is SO sick

Poor little Lola - she ended up getting sick on Saturday night while over at my father-in-laws. One wouldn't think that would be the case looking at her last pictures that I just posted, but she ended up throwing up right before the fight started. She then did it two more times and dry heaved until about 1:30 in the morning. She got a little bit of formula yesterday morning, again vomiting it up until 12:30 that afternoon. I called the on call nurse (again, first time was at 1:30 am) and they said to take her in to Phoenix Childrens Hospital to get checked. They gave her some medicine to help keep things down, and it seems to be working ok. However, she is so pathetic looking. She can barely hold up her own little head and she has just been sleeping, and sleeping. She goes to her pediatrician in a little while to see if she has improved. She is not throwing up anymore, but I feel like she has gotten worse. I will let everyone know how she is doing later today.

The "Fight" at Grandpa B's

On Saturday night, after I was finished taking the Creel's pictures, I headed over to my father-in-laws to watch the boxing fight with some friends. The kids had a blast and Lola learned a new trick with her tongue and would not stop doing it and Kyan, Chad, and Brian rocked out in the bedroom to Grandpa's new Guitar Hero - Rock Band! They were so cute! Kyan played the guitar (most of the time), Chad was on drums, and B was the singer! Did I mention how cute they looked!

The Creel Family

I got the opportunity to do my first "for real" photo shoot...sort of! Candis asked me to take some family pics for my Christmas cards this year and I was honored! Who knew that the first shot that I took was the one they decided to use for their cards! Is that skill or what? Ok - so it was luck, but they were really fun and easy to do. Next time I hope that little Camden bug is feeling better so we can catch her amazing smile on camera more!

Thank You Uncle Michael!

Been meaning to snap a picture of this painting that Michael Creel did for Kyan! It goes perfect in his room! Kyan is anticipating his cool Uncle Michael to add to his collection soon...HINT HINT!

I made the sign "Look What I Did!!" at a Super Saturday with my mother-in-law Donna. It is a great way to hang all of Kyan's art that he does at Rennie's! Our refridgerator was running out of room!

No likey french fries...

I think that it is safe to say that Lola is not a big fan of french fries. She ate them for the first time last night. She would put them in her mouth, as she is holding her favorite snack, potato puffs in each hand, and make these faces! We were laughing so hard at the dinner table last night! I don't know if she just continued to make the faces because we were laughing at her and she knew she had an audience or if the french fries were just really that bad. Either way, it made for some really cute pictures!

Kyan for Hire

Kyan is the world's best toilet bowl cleaner! If you need your toilets cleaned he is your boy! Today was bathroom cleaning day (which I HATE!) and haven't done in a while - cleaning lady has been here the past couple of times, no such luck right now - so I asked Kyan if he wanted to do the dirty job of scrubbing the toilets! It was no surprise that he immediately volunteered! Yes! He cleaned both toilets until they sparkled and then said that his daddy was going to be so proud of him and so happy! It was really cute! Thanks Kyan - job well done.

We have a crawler!

Well, sort of! I sat on the floor a few feet away from Lola today when I got home from school and was calling her name and holding out my arms for her to come to me (yes, very similar to a dog!) To my surprise she scooted right over! She has been a movin' and a shakin' all over the floor, but never quite anywhere direct until today! She gets up on and can go forward only if her right leg is dragging behind her. If she tries to move forward while that left leg is in its proper place for crawling, she face plants it most of the time! She is just in the beginning stages of her crawling life, but I think it counts!

She is also pulling herself up onto things and wanting to stand a lot! I really thought she might be a walker and not a crawler kinda baby, but I guess I was wrong!

Good Job Lola bug, so proud of you!
