It's My Party (and I'll Cry if I Want To!!!)

Today Susie brought Jayla over to do a little photo shoot for her birthday announcements/invitations! When she had family pictures done over Christmas, she spotted a cute idea and we tried it today! After we were done shooting pictures of Jayla, we through Lola in the mix too - as they will be 1 on February 12th! Well...here is the mess that was made!

Superbowl!!!

I think that this flag said it all! It is giant (I know you can't tell from here) and it hangs behind us every game. With each game it holds a new message and this one couldn't have been sweeter! NO ONE thought that the Cardinals were going to make it to the Superbowl, and they did indeed Shock the World!

Enjoy the pictures of our amazing day from start to finish!

Micheal, Chad, and Todd...being BOYS!

Susie and Jearel

Todd and Heather - they were there pre, game, and post-game and manned the grill for all of us AFTER the game! Thank you for making sure that we were all taken care of! They are soon to be newlyweds - can't wait for the wedding on Valentines Day!

Michael and Chad - both had food in their mouths when I took this - so that is my only explanation?!?

Brian on the grill! He is the host with the most at these tailgates and makes sure that everything is taken care of just right! I love that and I thank you B for always making sure everyone is well taken care of!
Chad and I for a pre-game pose!
Tough guys!
Susie came down to the Westgate lawn with hubby to watch the game! Her and Jearrel stayed for pre, game, and post-game action! Had fun chatting without the girls around, even thought we still love them! Don't know how much football watching Sue got in - she was reading Twilight the whole time - or trying to at least!

Chrissy and Frank (in his Cardinal red colors - so proud of you! Anyone who knows Frank, knows he is a Philly fan! He supported his home team with no regrets though) stopped by the party for a little while! So good to see them, haven't really got to hang with them since their wedding just a few months ago!

GO CARDINALS! This is before the game started!

I don't know why, but when they do the GIANT flag it brings tears to my eyes every single time?! I think that I think about my brother in the army...

Somebody should have thought about guarding this guy from the second he came out of the tunnel! Our boy - #11 Larry Fitzgerald!!!

Big Red on the drums before kick off! Kyan loves him!

Hard to spot the Eagles fans at the stadium! We had two sitting next to us - the lady talked Chad's ear off - but they left at half time...idiots!

Standing was the only option at this game! We tried to sit during time outs and at the end of the quarter! That second half was a nail biter for sure! I have never heard the stadium so loud either! Cardinals fans protected the nest the whole game!

VICTORY is sweet!

Number 1 Baby! Everyone was hugging and crying and celebrating after the Cardinals pulled off the victory!

We had such a blast!!! Thanks Cardinals for such a great season and we'll be rooting for you in the Super Bowl!

MAIL

Kyan LOVES mail?!?! Not just because it is his birthday on Tuesday and he just happens to be getting money in the cards, he just LOVES it?! He is always asking if the mail is for him - I wish! So if anyone ever wants to send a letter his way, he lives for it!

Fun Times at the Park

During our family bike ride, we stopped off to play at the park!

Family Bikes!

For Christmas this year we got family bikes - or money to get family bikes from Chad's dad! I finally got mine on Saturday, along with the wagon to hitch Lola in! I was a little worried about that wagon and my balance and just something tailing me in general, but I couldn't even tell that it was there! Although I do feel a little wicked witch of the west at times, I think I love my bike the most! THANK YOU GRANDPA B! We LOVE them! Kyan and I took a little ride together while Lola was taking her nap and then we took a family bike ride to the park when she woke up! The kids played for about 30 minutes before we headed home! Can't wait to go ride again tomorrow!

Happy Birthday Auntie Marcia!!!

Happy Birthday!!! You are a one of a kind aunt that I can always count on and I love you for that! You have saved my butt more times than I can count (don't worry mom and dad, nothing serious!) You are a great listener, so creative - especially with your 4th of July themes, a fabulous great aunt to my children, and more than my aunt, you are my friend! Hope you have a great day!

Thanks Heather

Saturday morning, bright and early, I did my second "for real" photo shoot of my friend Heather. I say "for real" because I want to eventually do something like this on the side, but need to get in lots of practice first! So happens I have great friends that will let me use them as my guinea pigs!
She wanted to take some pictures for her fiance to give to him as a gift for the wedding. (So if you know Todd, please don't let the cat out of the bag!) They turned out amazing and she looked absolutely beautiful! Thanks for letting me be the one to take these pictures of you! I hope that you had as much fun as I did!
