So happy to be at the game! This was pre-game actually, hanging out on the lawn!

Xavier and Kyan. Kyle (a family friend from Nebraska) made Kyan's helmet for him! He does it as a little hobby - Kyan loves it and is lucky to have got it from him! Mommy loves it too! When I was buying Kyan a sweatshirt, I overheard a guy ask how much they were - $168! Holla! We got a smokin' deal - Thank you Grandpa Jerry!

My two favorite players!

Brenda Warner was 4 rows ahead of us! The punter's wife was right behind us, and Fitzgerald's chef from Minnesota was to my left! Kyle score Beenie (not sure if that is how you spell his first name - oops) Wells players tickets! He works for the airlines, so ticket trade is good! It was really cool to sit so close to the players' loved ones!

Thankful

Every year we have bounced back and forth between families for Thanksgiving - today we did not. Take that back, we did go to two different places, but they were very close to one another, and our second stop was very last minute! We celebrated Thanksgiving this year at Aunt Lori's house, where we were able to eat a delicious meal and catch up! Chad's Grandma was there too! It was very relaxing! No pictures, but the kids played so good together and neither of mine wanted to leave, it took some coaxing for sure!

Our next stop was at Uncle Gary's future daughter-in-laws house (did you catch that?)! We stopped by for some yummy desert and chatted with everyone! Chad's cousin Rae is in town, so it was nice to see her and her two beautiful children! They had three dogs and Lola could not stop giggling around them! They were about her size, but she hung with them pretty good! Again, it took some coaxing to leave, but we made it home with no tears shed at all! Kyan crashed in the car (thought it would be Lola, but she has been a ball of fire the hole night)!

We look forward to spending time over at Rae Lynn's house on Saturday morning, with Great Grandpa and Great Grandma, their friend Martha, Grandma Donna, Grandpa Michael, Aunt Kiki, and the rest of the cousins!

We missed Grandma Julie and Grandpa Jerry today - we promise one year we will make it to Nebraska to celebrate with you! I really thought it was going to be this year, but Chad has to work tomorrow, next year it is his first requested holiday off, don't know if he will get it, but keep those fingers crossed.

Especially we missed Grandpa B today. We talked a lot about him at Aunt Lori's and remembered lots of little things about him! It was nice to talk about him and a good way to remember. We are thankful that Brion is in a happier and healthier place - we know he is taking care of Delilah up in Heaven and watching over us every day.

She's a Ham!

I got home from photo shoot #1 of 4 this afternoon, when Lola spotted my camera and immediately started cheesin' it up! She loves to put on a show! (I also realized that I haven't snapped any pictures of my kids lately - so I took advantage of her being so willing)!

1. Lola now officially refers to her daddy as "Chaddy" - guess she has heard me call Chad out too many times, has crossed it with daddy, creating "Chaddy"! Even with corrections, she still goes back to it. It is one of the cutest things that I have ever heard come out of her mouth, especially when she is serious and trying to get his attention! She is a diva - I LOVE HER.

2. Right before Kyan closes those beautiful lashes of his, we do this thing where I start at the top of his head and work my way down his body, ending at his toes and I take out all of the bad dreams (where I then proceed to sometimes stomp on them, or throw them in the trash, or just be silly) to get them out! I then have to find good dreams (somewhere in his room - like standing on the bed and reaching above the window or catching them from the air...get what I mean...) and put in, this time starting with his toes (usually involves tickling) and working my way up to his head! He absolutely thinks that it is the funniest thing in the world and LOVES it! We can't go to bed without it now! We also do a secret handshake right after - I LOVE HIM.

Introducing...

This is why I have been neglecting my own blog (and comments on my friends' blogs), to introduce you to another, and I introduce you at the very beginning stages, but I think it is time! While the website is still in the works (now realizing how much time it really does take), a blog will do the trick! I am excited to take on a brand new venture in my life and I look forward to sharing it with all of you!

It hasn't even been a week, but I feel like I have been neglecting my blog? Truth be told, I have been very busy this week! So here is a little update of things that I have been doing:

1. Editing my brain out! I have spent quite a few nights going through pictures that I have taken, sorting them into catergories, and editing! My website is in the works...stay tuned! But until then, here is a sneak peak of one of my favs (doesn't she have great legs?!) ~


2. Meeting with a landscaper, discussing prices, and trying to figure out how we want the backyard to look. Final plans are in the works and we meet up again next week to sort the rest of it out! I cannot wait for them to get started! I just might end up loving the backyard more than the inside and I am not sure if that is possible! Even though a pool is in future plans, it was cool to see how they are setting up the fence and how you won't even be able to tell it is there with the way it will be landscaped.

3. Making new fabric flower hair accessories. Chad had a baby shower at work for one of his co-workers, so I whipped up a few flowers for her soon to be little girl (not fabric, the fake flower kind I usually make) and she loved them. Well, another co-worker took notice and asked Chad how much I would charge to make her a few. I have been so overwhelmed with the pictures that I promised this weekend I would make some for her. Tonight, I stuck to that promise. If she wants to buy them, cool, if not, they will make great gifts, as I made Lola a few of her own while I was at it! No pictures, but I am sure that Lola will be caught on camera very soon with one of them in her hair! My mom even told me that a little shop in Wahoo called Lucille's would start selling them if I wanted to have a some ready to go for her on their next trip out! If I only had some extra time on my hands. No fabric flower accessories until the pictures are done, then maybe I can be crafty!

Nothing major happening this weekend, hope to make it to the farmer's market by the house in the morning. Taking Kyan to the Van's store to get a few pair of (much needed) shoes! Going with the slip-ons, as I am tired of tying shoes constantly! Then to Children's Place to get him some new jeans, seems that he has almost outgrown his old ones! Since I will be on that side of town, might have to sneak into the Carter's store to get Lola a few things as well?! Editing pictures (don't think it will ever end from this point on). Oh...and laundry, laundry, laundry! Hope everyone has a great weekend! Anyone doing something worth shouting about, if so, I would love to hear!?

Cardinals get housed!

While the game was horrible, the pregame wasn't bad at all! We met up with Candis and Michael for a little pregame tailgate action at Westgate's Saddle Ranch! They shared their breakfast with us and then Candis and I shared a few beverages before we headed into watch the creaming of the Cards. Chad and I ended up leaving at half-time and went to Native New Yorker, where we watched the Green Bay vs. Minnesota game. I don't really know what was more exciting, the game or the fans watching!
