A BIG THANK YOU to Uncle B for taking Kyan (and Chad) to get our family Christmas tree! We would still probably not have one yet, had it not been for Brian! Friday night he came over and took the boys to pick one out - this year just at Fry's grocery store, so it wasn't that difficult. We usually get a Charlie Brown tree, but not this year, so it is kind of hard to get used to the more full tree that is sitting on top of Kyan's train table! It is sitting on that table NOT to keep the kids or dogs from messing with it, but simply because I don't have anywhere to put that table! Oh well, works for now! We ate lasagna after dinner, then Kyan and I decorated the tree while Lola cried and cried and Brian checked his daily email and everyone's blogs for updates! Chad and Kyan added the finishing touch - The Star - onto the tree at the very end!
*Lola's crying was validated on Saturday morning when she woke up with her top tooth! So sorry to Brian for having to hear her for about two of the hours of your visit! Good thing you didn't stay, she woke up again at about 2:30 am and cried until 4! But, like I said, all worth it for that tooth!
