Dear John
I got to go see this movie on opening day! Something that doesn't happen in the Roseland house too often! Chad picked up the kids after school and I had a few hours of mommy time!
Nicholas Sparks is one of my favorite authors, his books always end up as great movies (something that I don't feel like happens too well very often), but this was good. I cried, of course, and thought a lot about my brother (mom, I need his address so that I can write to him, something I never do. Please email it to me). There was a very tender moment between a John and his dad and I thought about my brother and my dad, that is when the tears started flowing the worst.
I can't wait for The Last Song to come to the theater! They showed previews and I can't wait!

i've been wanting to read this but can't find it at the used bookstore. i very rarely pay retail for books - i'd be in the poor house, ha!
ryan and i are going to see avatar this next weekend. haven't been to a movie together since i was preggo with kylee ;-(
i'll be looking forward to dear john on video!
It was soo good! I loved it.
I even cried ;) hehee.
The Last Song looks good too. I think i'll have to read that book :)
just think how hard you would have cried if we had not been there to act like 5 year olds with! Cinnabon will never be the same ;)
colleen, book is great, i would so let you borrow it, but it has now begun circulating w/ the 8th graders!
celeste - read the book, the previews for the movie look great, however, there is so much more to it than what you think! it is on the kindle, otherwise it would be yours!
holly - had so much fun with you girls, was fun to drool! i don't know how many times i have watched the trailer since i posted!
i also got to see this on opening day!!! it was amazing...i cried on that part so much lol....so glad u got some mommy time!!
Since I talked to you right after you watched the movie, I got the full review and let me say this again- Stop going to see those SAD movies that affect you so much personally!!! Ok, not really, I think it is good for you. I hope you didn't have any nightmares that night ;).
Can't wait to see this movie!!!!!!!!
what the heck is a kindle? reading on a computer? that's my best guess...
since the house that we're moving into in march has a seperate living/family room and we don't have a need for 2 rooms, i decided to make the smaller of the two my personal libraray, yay! i have always bought books at used bookstores and then traded them in for others once i get a few stacked up. BUT now i wish i had a bunch of books put away to fill hte library. the bookshelves that i'll be getting may be a little sad looking for a while ;-(
colleen - a kindle is a e-book. so it is kinda like reading on a computer, but not really. you can find them on amazon.com, should be the first thing that shows up on the top of their page! i love it and the books are so much cheaper! for as much reading as i do, it was worth it! plus, i don't ever have to go to the book store again!
I've wanted to see this, but Michael hates Channing whatever his name is?! I'd have to roll solo on this one for sure. Glad you had some much-needed Mommy Time!
I love love love Ikea. I am going on saturday! hip hop hooray!
