They Are Here!!!

YAY! I picked up my parents at the airport on Friday evening and I am not sure who was more excited...me? My kids? Or them?! Either way, as soon as they arrived, it was off to their place where Chad and the kids met up at the Estrella Golf Course for some yummy dinner! The kids love it there, they get to run around on the practice course at night and the outside patio that we eat at is a good place to let them run around!

For part of this trip out, my mom's wonderful friend Linda is joining them for about a week, along with my Aunt Sue and her daughter (my cousin) April! April is super excited to be moving here in about 7 months to finish up her schooling!

As soon as we got back to my parents house, Lola wanted to play outside in the fountain (but there wasn't any water in it - they drain it when they leave for extended amounts of time) so she immediately turned to grandpa and told him, "It's broken, you fix it for me?" in the sweetest voice she could! Melted my heart and it must have melted grandpa's because he went and got the hose and put water in it right away! She LOVES that fountain and needed grandpa there to play with her in it!

Meanwhile, Kyan and grandma were busy hiding and seeking the snakes that grandma brought him for his surprise! Usually they hide G.I. Joe guys, but because the snakes were new, they hid those this time! Kyan could (and sometimes does) do this for hours with grandma! They take turns and use the expressions "hotter" and "colder" to locate their hiding things!

Grandpa and Grandma Nebraska are here for another two weeks and we can't wait to spend every second that we possibly can with them! They joined us last night for our little get together that we had at the house to watch the Suns game (so sad they lost) and UFC fight and we are off to spend the day with them today at the waterpark out at Estrella!

WE LOVE YOU!

Jenni, these pictures are so special for a couple reasons:

1. Arizona's sunsets rock! Seriously, I LOVE them. My parents used to have a house in Scottsdale and that was my very fave part about AZ.

2. Your parents are so adorable and how fun and nice to have them there! I bet the kids are having a blast!

3. Could you please send me your tee-shirt size? {I know totally unrelated to the pics, ha!}

xoxo

I'm with Amy- I have to number my comments for this one!

1. Holy SKINNY Jerr Bear! Good job to him- he looks great.

2. My FAVE pic of you & Tad in a long time.

3. Love the story of Lola asking for water in the fountain- totally reminded me of Papa Jim with Camden! In fact, he gave her 1 of her B-Day gifts tonight (hmmmm, about 6 weeks EARLY!)

4. I would MUCH rather have been @ your house & @ the water park today, than potty training-- but Michael & I are already SO thankful we started NOW. There is NOOOO way on Earth we could have done this after Nixen was born- too much chaos!

5. I am happy to give you some GOOD tips for Lola's training when you're ready!

I love your parents!! I'm hoping that maybe I (we) get to see them sometime too?! Like maybe the waterpark *hint-hint*-ha ha!! I know I kind of missed my opportunity being in Mexico and all, but come on ;).

After talking to you today and reading this post, you really weren't kidding about being so very busy. Sounds like a perfect weekend. I too love the story about Grandpa and Lola (reminds me of Jay and her Grandpa Riley) and how cute is your mom in that picture with the snakes. AND what a GREAT picture of you and Chad!!

Can't wait to hear more about their visit here!!
