Breaking.
And Entering.
My parents are back in town and this time they came in knowing that their spare key (which they leave in an undisclosed location that I will not name, but was there only way into the house) somehow wasn't going to work (there is a story behind that too, but it isn't really that important...). They were hoping that they had some secret touch and that it would magically work or that they left some windows open, but unfortunately they had no such luck. My dad, being the tough guy that he is, DID have to break into his own home tonight. It took about an hour and a half and lots of pounding, but we finally made it in!Then, it was off to the golf course for a nice dinner under the lit up trees! It was so pretty up there and so fun to sit and somewhat relax, as it is finally fall break (hoping to find some time to blog a little more this week)!
My kids love their grandma and grandpa so much and had a countdown of sleeps going on until they were here! They are only here to stay for just a few days and the kiddos are planning on spending as much time as possible with them!Love you guys!

Too funny! This almost just happened to us, while on a family walk. Michael spilled water on our garage door opener, and by the time we got back home, it would NOTTTT work!? I panicked, since we had both kiddos with us, and it was HOT outside. We took the opener apart & let it dry for a bit, and by miracle, it worked & we were safe at home! But geeeez, it was NOT funny at the time.
