Spring Break is HERE!!!!

Insert a BIG sigh of relief. Go ahead...I will wait (oh - maybe that was just for me, either way, a deep breath I am taking)!
Spring break means a couple of things for me. The biggest thing is that my school yearbook is DONE! Yahooooooo! My deadline is on Tuesday, but with no school for me for the next week (happy dance) I had to have it done Friday, and done it is! BUT, not without a fight. My school laptop's hard drive crashed right before I went to insert pictures for our final page! Really?! Yep, I had warned our technology department that something fishy was going on earlier in the week and begged them not do anything with the computer until Friday, in hopes that it would make it that long. I wasn't so lucky...but with a lot of blood, sweat, and tears (and a few amazing girls who know exactly who they are) we got 'er done! A giant weight was lifted off my shoulders immediately and I feel like I can return to the land of the living now! Fourth quarter brings not only the completion of the yearbook, but Romeo and Juliet to the classroom! It is my favorite thing to teach and I can't wait until we get to start!
Spring break also means family time!!! Chad took off the week too, so we get to spend the entire week together! We kicked off our break by heading to Walgreen's to get our passport pictures taken. Chad and I will be heading to Jamaica in June (shooting my first destination wedding) and he needs his updated, while I need one period. We thought that it was a good idea to get the kids done too, since we are gong through the trouble of getting ours done! We don't have plans to go out of the country with them right now, but it will be nice to have that option when we want to! After pictures, we headed to Peoria Sports Complex to watch a spring training game and then to Salty Senorita's afterward, where the kids had even more fun! Pictures will be coming soon, I left my cord at school, so sad (in the midst of yearbook craziness), but have every intention of going to get it ASAP (like if it wasn't dark outside, I would have went tonight)!
We have lots in store for this week as well! Monday we head to get our passport paperwork filled out! There is a post office by the house that does it and I am so excited that we don't have to go downtown! Kyan starts flag football practice too! Tuesday, I will be taking headshots at the Scottsdale Civic Center for loan officers and title agents (actually, I am not sure who else, but it is banking peeps)! My girlfriend, Candis, is an Account Manager for Arizona Title Service Agency organized/booked the entire ice cream social! It was originally planned from 12-4, but the response has been amazing and she has me snapping away from about 11-5, appointments are every 15 minutes! I am excited for the opportunity and super happy I get to spend my day with her! On Wednesday we are heading up to the Renaissance festival! Kyan loves any and everything that has to do with knights and castles and kings and fighting, so Chad thought that would be a super special day for him! Thursday the kiddos go to the dentist! It also marks the beginning of March Madness, so lots of basketball will be watched and will carry into the weekend I am sure! In the midst of our crazy week, I will be making a new wreath for our front door, as the heart has to come down! I spied one in blogland that I plan on attempting! I also plan on lounging around the pool too! The weather is beautiful.

Excited for the week!
