Don't even know what to say?

Chad is out for a night on the town and rocking a new look! What does everybody think? I think it looks totally sexy and I wish he was staying home with that mustache and chops!

NOT!

He looks ridiculous! It took him almost 45 minutes to groom himself for the groom to be - Todd Kelley tonight! It is his bachelor party and Chad is going all out just for him!

Kyan's Birthday Party - Only 2 Weeks Late

We celebrated Kyan's birthday this year at Peter Piper Pizza! It was on Tuesday and planned very last minute, seems like this is how I do it these days, as Lola's birthday is next week and I haven't done anything for it yet! (Yes, you will be getting a call soon - but will be nothing fabulous for her either!)
Anywho, Kyan couldn't have cared less what day of the week it was on or who could and couldn't make it! He had a blast with his cousins, Michelle, Mason, Gage, and Sage, his friends, Steven, Daniel, Jayla, and Avery! Of course the kids' parents were there with them: Susie and Jearel, Rae Lynn, Camille and Brandon, and Angela, and Ryan! Grandpa and Grandma Moffitt made the speical day too!

The cutest story that came out of that night was right after Kyan blew out his candles. I reminded him that he needed to make a wish after he blew out his candle, forgetting that he would just blurt it out loud. This is where he clenched his fists together, closed his eyes and said, "I wish to be a real boy!" When he said real boy, he opened his eyes like he had just seen the light! We were all laughing because it might have been one of the cutest things he has ever said and it came out of nowhere, he got a little embarressed, but I tried to assure him that that was a great wish and that he did a good job! He is so sensitive!

Kyan's Mohawk

Can't even remember when this happened, but Chad and I were in the living room watching TV and Kyan comes out of our bathroom with the following hairdo -

He says all proud, "I'm a good mohawk maker!"
There was so much goop in his hair it was disgusting! He got into Chad's hair paste and decided that he was going to make himself a mohawk! He did a good job minus all the paste he used, TOO much! Needless to say, he was so proud of his mohawk and wouldn't let us touch it! We took a bike ride to the park shortly after - gooped up mohawk and all!

Superbowl Sunday

The many faces of Chad throughout the game -

Uncle Jearel was helping Kyan by giving him a play by play of the action!

The Garrett Family

Mommies with their girls! I realized that as much as we are together with our girls, we didn't have a picture of the four of us! So Uncle B snapped this one of Susie, Jayla, Lola, and myself!

The Swishers

Auntie Susie trying to get a look at Lola's 5th tooth! Below is the face that Lola made after she was done messing with her!

Uncle B and Lola

Yes, that is one OLD tv set up in the bathroom, so that even when you are taking care of your business, you won't miss any of the game!

Mommy and Lola

Kyan and Daddy playing our Cardinals Bean Bag Football game, from the looks of it I think Kyan has a better advantage!

Those that went (well, almost had everyone in the picture!)

Once again, we trekked over to Chad's dad's house for a long day of celebration! It is a tradition to watch the big game at Brion's house each year - this year was that much more special because our very own Arizona Cardinals were battling the Steelers! This was one that will go down in the books as the most fun Superbowl party of them all! Great company, great food, and great football! Our Cardinals gave it their very best and almost pulled off a victory!

It was a so nice to see how many people turned out - it was important to Brion, as well as us! This is the one time each year where everyone comes together! Thanks so much to our close friends and family that made the day with us!!!

TAG - You're it!

Candis tagged me on her blog, so now it is my turn...

The idea is: you go to your 6th folder of pictures and choose the 6th picture in that folder and post it. After that, choose 5 people to tag, or to play along with this. This picture happens to be Chad and I's departure to Hawaii, where we were married! Oh how I wish that is what I was doing right now!

So I tag:
1. Susie
2. Rae Lynn
3. Camille
4. Colleen
5. Discello

Can't wait to see your pics!

REJECTED

Well, not exactly rejected, but...
I was shopping at Costco today (with Chad's Costco Card) and had already made one purchase in the optical dept, but you can only pay for your glasses or contacts there, so I was off to purchase toilet paper and formula for Lola at the other registers. I got in line and then the lady at the next register said that she was open, so I switched lanes - MISTAKE! She asked me if I had a Costco Card (this is after she has rung me up and given me my total) and I told her no that I just shop with Chad's card (the account is under his dad, so Chad has the other card). She told me that I was not going to able to make my purchase, but that she would check with the supervisor. I told her that that wouldn't be necessary, but the next thing I knew she was yelling SUP on 3! Oh God, I was so embarrassed. The Supervisor comes over and says that he has to take the card and that Chad has to come see him to get it back. Again, I asked if I could just give it back to him and explain, and he said no, he has to tell him the "rules" of the card all tough guy like. I said that I could tell him, but I was his wife so it wasn't like he was giving his card out to some random person. I also wanted to say that I do this ALL the time, and that I just did it like five minutes ago in the optical dept, but I didn't want to get Chad or the lady in that dept in trouble, so I just bit my tongue at that point and walked out. Oh boy, I knew Chad was going to be fuming, especially since the guy gave me a hard time, and I was right, he headed there as soon as I got home. Anxious to hear about his reprimand! Gotta love Costco!
