Well, not exactly rejected, but...
I was shopping at Costco today (with Chad's Costco Card) and had already made one purchase in the optical dept, but you can only pay for your glasses or contacts there, so I was off to purchase toilet paper and formula for Lola at the other registers. I got in line and then the lady at the next register said that she was open, so I switched lanes - MISTAKE! She asked me if I had a Costco Card (this is after she has rung me up and given me my total) and I told her no that I just shop with Chad's card (the account is under his dad, so Chad has the other card). She told me that I was not going to able to make my purchase, but that she would check with the supervisor. I told her that that wouldn't be necessary, but the next thing I knew she was yelling SUP on 3! Oh God, I was so embarrassed. The Supervisor comes over and says that he has to take the card and that Chad has to come see him to get it back. Again, I asked if I could just give it back to him and explain, and he said no, he has to tell him the "rules" of the card all tough guy like. I said that I could tell him, but I was his wife so it wasn't like he was giving his card out to some random person. I also wanted to say that I do this ALL the time, and that I just did it like five minutes ago in the optical dept, but I didn't want to get Chad or the lady in that dept in trouble, so I just bit my tongue at that point and walked out. Oh boy, I knew Chad was going to be fuming, especially since the guy gave me a hard time, and I was right, he headed there as soon as I got home. Anxious to hear about his reprimand! Gotta love Costco!

how embarrassing, did you feel like one of your students? ha!
YIKES. Maybe they're crackin' down since people are trying to get a bargain more often lately. Weird, though, because Michael & my sister use my card all the time for Camden's formula. I'll be sure to let them know that there are Costco Nazis on the loose!
WHERE is your "Tag" post, young lady??
Blaine is convinced he can use my mom's card at Costco. I'm going to have to tell him to check out this post!
