Yay! Lola started to roll over on her own in Nebraska last week! She has been having trouble getting her arm up from underneath her, but has finally mastered it! She was on the ground on a blanket and I was doing something, next thing I know she is on her belly! Kyan loves helping her and making sure that she has it just right!

We have a roller...
Yay! Lola started to roll over on her own in Nebraska last week! She has been having trouble getting her arm up from underneath her, but has finally mastered it! The Creel Crew
Camden Edie Creel was born last night after a LONG day of waiting! I was going crazy wondering what was happening, I can only imagine that it was half of what mommy and daddy went through...and let me tell you, this little muffin put them through the ringer! Candis ended up having a c-section last night after Camden decided she WASN'T coming out any other way! She weighed in at 7 lbs 8 oz and was 20 and 1/2 inches long! She is absolutely gorgeous and looks just like her daddy (I think any way!) Kyan is excited to teach another baby the way of life along with his sister Lola and Lola is so excited to have another BFF join her circle! Congratulations Candis and Michael on your beautiful little daughter, I am so happy that she is finally here. Love you!

4th of July
Our Family on the 4th!
Kyan was in a kiddie parade. His car had worked ALL week...even that day...until the second that the parade actually started! It would only go in REVERSE! Needless to see, I had to push Kyan the few blocks that the parade was to the city park! It was so humid and I worked up a sweat, but I think that it makes for a good story. Kyan was a good sport about everything and didn't care if the car worked or if mommy had to push!
There is something about the 4th of July in the small town of Wahoo, Nebraska! We were so excited to go back and celebrate. Unfortunately, Kyan wasn't as excited about the fireworks as we were and stated that they were too loud! He did take to the sparklers though, so the next time we go back, we will know what to get. The fireworks at the local ball field were a hit with him as well. We were far enough away that the noise didn't bother him! It was a great end to our day!

Water balloon fight!!!
Chad and Kyan had a water balloon fight one of the afternoons that we were there. I was protected by Lola and the camera, so I wasn't a target! I think this went a total of five rounds, as Kyan begged for more!!! By the end, Chad's fingers were raw The boys would fill up their bucket and head down to the back yard! During one of the rounds, Kyan was hitting the balloons with his bat!
Playing in the Park
Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo
OK...get ready for lots of pics!!! Too many good ones to leave out! I have a feeling that these next few blogs will be long. Wish I could somehow put it into a slide show, but still have to figure that one out! Enjoy...
Some of the amazing animals in the jungle
Some of the amazing animals in the jungle
Lola spent her time in the rain forest sawing logs! Grandma was put on the duty of wheeling her around!
This had to have been one of Kyan's favorite parts of the rain forest! He and his daddy were watching these three silly monkeys playing down below on their island! They were chasing each other around and playing what seemed like a game of take away with anything that the monkeys had in their hands. Kyan was giggling away.
I haven't been to that many zoo's, but I must say, that if you are EVER in Nebraska, this is a place you have to go! Every time we go back to visit it seems to get better and better. This year they have added a butterfly exhibit to their already lead jungle and desert dome. I really wanted Kyan to experience this zoo, and he had a blast. He probably would have explored more areas, but we were pooped and we didn't even walk half of it! We took him to all of the amazing exhibits that the zoo offers. He loves watching Dora and Diego so I was most excited for him to see the rain forest up close and personal, as that is where a lot of the stories from the two shows takes place. We went to the desert dome as well, but I was just reminded of how hot Arizona was and wanted out of there fast! It was very neat, but we see that everyday. Then it was on to the aquarium where we saw lots of sharks above our heads. Next was the butterfly exhibit, which was new. We had to wait about 20 minutes in line, but it was well worth the wait. Finally, Kyan insisted on seeing the giraffes before we left. We made that our last stop.
