First Pre-Season game went down on Saturday night and so the Cardinals home games begin! Had to snap a few pictures before "game time"! Thank you Rae Lynn for keeping the kids overnight so that Chad and I could have another date night! Woohoo! I owe you big now, this is the second weekend in three weeks that you have had overnighters with my babies!!!

Tag Team Babysitters!
Chad and I went out Friday night for my co-workers birthday and Laken and Celeste came over to watch the kiddos! My kids LOVE these two girls and get so excited when I tell them "the girls" are coming over! It is funny how they attach to each of them. While they adore both of them, somehow it always ends up that Lola goes right to Laken and Kyan to Celeste! Don't know what it is...but it always happens!
They are so good, they had Lola down by 7:30 and Kyan followed her about an hour later! I texted them to see if they minded us staying out a little later than planned and they had no problem with it at all! Both kids were asleep by then and they had each other to keep company! They got the you-know-what scared out of them when the french doors blew open during the middle of the horrible storm that we had! I text them that we were staying out late, so when they heard the alarm go off (it beeps when someone opens the door to enter or exit) they thought it was strange that we were home already...that is when the doors blew open and rain, thunder, and lightening poored in! Yikes! I think I would have pooped my pants! The house is big and can be scary during a storm, then to have the doors crash open - no thanks! I had the door locked, but apparently you have to lock the middle part of the door with french doors - ooops! So they gave me a hard time and told me that anyone could have broke into my house because I didn't have my lock locked right! Who knew? Not me!
Thank you ladies! Love you!

Height: 32 and 1/2 inches long (75th Percentile)

Moving Time
I was so excited to move and love my new house, but I must say that actually moving SUCKS! Ugh, there is so much that you have to do, and not enough hands to do it. Don't get me wrong, we had so much help (and even more offers than what we took people up on), and even hired movers (if you need movers you should call A-ACE Movers, best in AZ) but then unpacking everything...
Wanted to say thanks to Rae Lynn and Kristen for watching my kids ALL weekend! They went over there Friday night and didn't come home until Sunday morning! They got some much needed cousin time in and Lola really got to know her aunties better! When Rae dropped them off, she wouldn't let me hold her, she kept saying Rae's name.
Also, thank you to Donna! She did all of our laundry that has been piling up for us this weekend! It is so nice to not have to worry about cleaning clothes! Now, I just have to put them away!
Last, but not least, to Frank and Chrissy who showed up before 7am, checked the air (which is not the problem either with the walls, so now I have no clue) and stayed with us the entire day helping put up lights and doggy doors and moving and unpacking!
Today my cable is supposed to be getting turned on between 10 and 12. My uncle (I couldn't find anyone else, and I asked almost EVERYONE I knew) can't be there until 10:30 or so, so I am banking that they will show up late. When I called to cancel this morning, they gave me an ETA of 11:33, so I called my uncle to see if his offer still stood and he said yes! Now I just have to count on COX to show up late, which they do every single time anyway, but now that I need them to be late today, they will probably be there at 10 and then I will be without cable and internet until Saturday, and I just might die!
***COX showed up early, but so did my uncle! Woohoo!
Hope everyone had a great weekend - back to work!

Kyan goes to Preschool
The first day of school is one of the craziest and it is always a good idea to be there early, as there are 1000's of things that you forget to do or that come up last minute. Because of this, I went to school bright and early to make sure everything would run smooth for my incoming 8th graders, and it did. However, being a teacher at a middle school also meant that I would have to miss dropping Kyan off at his first day of Preschool at the elementary school. Yes, I am very emotional and sensitive about it. I had all of these directions for Chad about his first day. Luckily, Chad switched shifts with someone at work so that he could drop him off at the regular time (because I drop off the kids and am at school early, Kyan will normally go to what is called extended day, like daycare, before and after school). It was a zoo there this morning and they had to walk forever just to get to the doors, Kyan was overwhelmed and didn't understand why it was so crazy, but needless to say, he was ecstatic once he reached his room! When I picked him up from school this afternoon, he kept saying how much fun he had and told me about all of the cool things that he got to do! He is really excited to go back tomorrow! This is my baby on his first day:

New Homeowners!
It is official! We closed on our house this afternoon! We will be moving in this weekend and I cannot wait!
