Yes, I was the mother that forgot a bathing suit for the water splash (this was one of the reasons we wanted to go to the zoo today - I felt so stupid). So I did what any other mother would do...stripped her down and let her run around in her diaper. Ok, maybe not any mother, but she was determined to walk around in that mess, and there is no stopping her. She is obsessed with her belly button and walked around with her fingers in it!
Kyan really didn't want anything to do with the water, here he is just trying to wash his hands from popsicle juice. He would rather have played in the mud!
Grandma spoiled Lola with a popsicle and she went to town on it!
After the popsicle, Grandma took Lola really close to one of the sprinklers and it blasted her right in the face when she wasn't expecting it. She was so sad when she realized what happened.

The whole family at the very end of our journey! That is why half of the kids are paying attention! We had a fun day!
Yesterday we met Chad's grandma and cousin at the zoo. Jess was in town from California for her birthday and grandma thought that a trip to the zoo with everyone might be a fun way to get together! Rae Lynn and her kids came, along with Chad's mama! It was a beautiful morning and a great way to get some exercise!

what a fun zoo day! and of course, kylee would have been stripped down to her diaper too. then she would have taken it off and been a naked bird playing in the water. awww, poor lola with the water in her face. probably scared the crap out of her. but at least mommy's hair looks fabulous!
I didn't know the zoo had a splash pad. How FUN!! I love that Grandma blasted her with the water. I probably would have done the same thing and you better bet that Jay would hate me for it.

The splash pad is one of my "Count-Down" places to visit, when Camden is closer to walking! I LOVE those shots you captured, even the crying one- which was kinda' sad but OHHH so cute!
