After the rain stopped today - my kids went out to play...IN THE MUD! Kyan asked if he could get dirty, I figured why not? As soon as Lola saw that her brother was headed for fun, she wanted in on the action! While she did not get as dirty as he did, off to the bathtub she went after a major fit. Why a fit you ask? I took Piggy away from her as she was trying to drag it in the mud with her (plus she was incredibly tired and was overdue for a nap). Kyan had about 30 more minutes of fun by himself before I made him strip down outside! I had to carry him to the bathtub, as mud was all over his feet! Kyan was so dirty he had to have two rounds of bath! One just to get the mud off and another to get clean! Mess and all, it was worth all the cleaning up that followed, just to see how much fun they were having on their faces! Plus, it is not every day that one gets to play in the mud!

Looks like FUN! Especially Kyan. Lola can't live without her piggy! :] Crazy kids. They look so cute when playing together!
I will have to admit this looks like a lot of fun. I maybe (now maybe) would have let Jay join in on something like this.
Couldn't you have least let poor Lo take in one of her Piggys? She knows she has a back up. GEEZ MAMA! ;)

Looks like so much fun. I don't know that I'd be able to handle it...I think my ocd would kick in. HA!
how fun! i would have been all over that too. well, not me personally but i mean letting my kids get down and dirty. hey, we all did it when we were kids and we're fine, right? is the backyard gonna be dirt for long or is something in the works?
poor lola and piggy. i wish, but also not wish, that kylee was attached to something like that.
