Dip Baby Dip!

It is official! We are swimming!

We thought we would be swimming yesterday, but our pool wasn't even close to being filled. So, we thought we would run the hose overnight and when we woke up this morning that we would be able to turn it off...no such luck! Well over 52 hours after they dropped the hose in, we are almost done! But we were done enough for us to take a quick dip after our long day! The pool water is HOT! Like hot, hot, hot, but I won't complain, it is so much better than it being freezing!

Tomorrow they come to teach us how to maintain everything!

Embracing the camera this week...
it has been too long!

How exciting! I love seeing the backyard progress and it seems like it's flying by.

Also, your pavers look great. I love the way they make everything look fancier.

And to ever think you guys were not going to get a pool... PHEWY, so glad it is finally done, and YOU DID IT! Look how happy Kyan, Lola, and mommy look!

I LOVE the pebble sheen color you picked, it makes the water look so blue like a plaster pool. My guess is you guys don't know how to maintain the waterfall yet (I no see it on)?

Can't wait to come take a "dip baby dip" (ha ha) with you!!

BTW, I was dying laughing at Kyan's upside down goggles. He cracks me up in those suckers, and even more so with them upside down ;-). We have a pair he lefted behind, and a sad sad fishy (I think he's dead) of Lola's.

The pool looks awesome & love the big shelf! I would like to invite myself to lay on that shelf with my Frien, cocktails in-hand, sometime in the not-too-distant future! : )

Ok here we go:

1. I miss you!! :(

2. Kyan's 1st day of school post, oh boy, lots of tears...even your second day post when you got in trouble with the aide! haha. I love it, and it made me cry, I totally understand about the kiddos growing up.

3. Your new car...way cool! I hope it doesn't develop a "lemon attitude"

4. YOUR POOL!!! OMW!!!!!!!!! The entire thing is soooooo awesome! I'm so excited for you guys and extremely jealous of that beautiful backyard. Wow..makes me want to go back to teaching so we could afford one, haha. :)

5. How did Alisha win that scrub? Seriously, why do all my friends have the luck?!?
