This year all three of us started our first day of school together! Usually it is just Kyan and I that pack our bags and go to school (this is my ninth year of "first days"), while Lola goes to daycare, but not this year! This year she joined us, as she had her first day of preschool today! I am so thankful that it happens to be at the same school that Kyan attends! So for the next four years they will be at the same school! They even saw each other in passing today at lunch and both told me about it when I got home from school! They thought it was pretty cool and Kyan kept saying that he can't believe that Lola is at his school now!
Kyan LOVES first grade and talked about how awesome it was after school! I wasn't too worried about his day, he is so easy going that I knew it would be a breeze! He made some new friends and caught up with old ones from last year. Lola did fairly well considering...she refused to participate in PE and at one point she told her teachers she wasn't coming back to school tomorrow, BUT they said that she really had a great day otherwise! She is talking non stop about how much she loves her teachers and how great they are (in her very dramatic diva voice, kinda sounds a little valley girl?!) and can't wait to go back tomorrow!
Whew! Day one done! Hoping tomorrow goes just as well!

i love that they get to attend the same school for four years. i didn't get to do that with my brothers and they will never be at the same school either! i suppose that could either be a curse or a blessing with those two, though!

She was also ooooozing with cuteness, wearing that back pack that was bigger than her!
I love hearing about times like these with your kids, because it always gives me a sneak peek into our future. It's so exciting that they're in school together- wish I was a fly on the wall to see them in action.
Feels weird not talking to you all the time now, but we are both busy mommas! You looked beautiful on your 1st day (and I NEED those cute shoes.) : )

I agree u looked amazing..loved that dress..........u are always so beautiful.......and Lola kills me with her faces (she reminds me of Camden or Camden of her whatever lol)....Cracks me up!!! Kyan is soooooooo handsome....I swear I am scared for all the ladies!!! I love how they are in school together and that they talk about it to you.........So precious..
How great that Kyan and Lola get to go to the same school -- a pre-school in your elementary school! They both look so big -- and so darling. Have a great year Mrs. Roseland. :)

That is so awesome that they get to go to school together:) That's how my girls will be too! You all looked so cute on your first day! I can't help but notice your awesome letter "wreath" on your door....AWESOME!! I am in love with that:)
