For those that aren't married yet that read this - or for those that want to start a fun tradition on your anniversary, keep reading...

...Chad's sister told us to write down our feelings in a letter to each other on our wedding day (after the ceremony), and on our one year anniversary, open it as a reminder of how we felt about the other on that day. I feel like it is my job to pass this advice on, so here goes...
We started this and still do this. On our one year wedding anniversary we got to open the letters that we wrote to each other on our wedding day...gets me choked up just writing about it now! Then, we decided we were going to do this every anniversary - to be opened on the following anniversary. It is the best gift that we give to each other, one needs no present on this day, just the letter. I have saved all of our letters to each other since the wedding day. I always go back and read them after we give each other our letters from the previous year. It is neat to see how we have grown as a couple, and even helps remember what we were doing that day! Pass this on to anyone you know who is getting married soon - it so special and worth the wait each year for the letter!

BEST advice ever & can't wait for next year's letter (1st one was a tear fest!) HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to you both! Love you guys!
What great advice! No, really that is really special. I almost started to cry. I think that maybe Lonnie and I need to do this.
I still remember that night...when Chad called right after you guys got back to the hotel room. I felt terrible that we couldn't make it and I was so grateful that in some little way I still felt like I was able to share this special day with you.
I am so glad that Chad found you. You are so much fun and we truly do love you.
Happy anniversary!
We still need to take that advice. Never too late I guess!! Happy Late Anniversary. I can't believe it has been 5 years!!
Love you both!
