Trunk-or-Treat

Last night we went with Donna to her church's "Trunk-or-Treat"! It started with a chili cook off, costume parade, carnival games, and then off to the trunks of cars to get candy - hence "trunk" instead of trick! A very cute idea! We had a blast! Kyan tried on his Red Power Ranger Suit for the first time (as I bought it off craiglist.com - love that site - and Auntie Rae picked up for him). He was in love! The entire night he was trying to walk in slow motion and do the cool moves! Little Miss Lola just might have been the cutest ballerina on the planet! I searched for little ballerina shoes for her, after talking to Auntie Susie, where she found some for Jayla at Old Navy, but had no luck (wrong size) and ended up at Target with a great find! Who knew leg warmers came in baby sizes! I think it just might have made her outfit!
Tomorrow we are heading to Grandpa B's house to hit up his neighborhood for candy and spend a little time passing candy out at his house with him! The only thing that would make this Halloween complete is to have Grandpa Jerry and Grandma Julie here...here's to hoping that maybe one day this will happen...until then know we LOVE YOU and wish you were here!
Hope everyone has a safe and happy Halloween!

OMG!! I love the leg warmers. I didn't see those ones at target! WTH! Both Kyan and Lola look so cute. BTW, I went to Michael's today and they didn't have that damn iron on!!

Leg warmers MOST DEFINITELY made the costume! You remind me SO much of my Aunt Emily (& your love for Target/Old Navy!) When we went over there for the twins' 2nd B-day, she had Morgan in a ballerina/birthday outfit with Pink Leg Warmers & sparkle shoes from Target- her fave place! LOVE little Lola & always love Kyan's costumes--he is ALL boy.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN! XOXO
