...of the movie that is. Chad and I got to go on a little date Friday night, thank you so much to Donna for calling earlier in the week to offer to babysit, and I have been dying to see Twilight! I had a horrible start to the week for one, and then it ended amazing, as I was the "biggest loser" once again at school! Two weeks in a row! So I really didn't need to twist Chad's arm at all, he knew that he was going to have to go eventually. (He is reading the Twilight series too, so it didn't hurt him to watch it with me! His is currently on New Moon and really likes it! I think that he thinks that by him reading my vampire series, I will read his Anne Rice vampire series, but he is mistaken!) We had dinner and Native New Yorker (they have the best wings!!!) and then saw the show.
Needless to say I was so disappointed. I thought for sure that it was going to be better than it was. Now I know that the books are always better, but I really thought the movie was a HUGE disaster. This was surprising even to myself, because I love teenage drama cheesy shows! The scenery was beautiful and I thought that Bella wasn't as bad as everyone made her out to be?! Edward was a nightmare up until the end of the movie and he talked as if he was, well, slow. That is the nicest way for me to put it.
Will I be going to see New Moon in the theatre, probably so, as the books are so amazing that I will just have to see what they come up with for the movie, but I am glad that I will have some time before then to recover from Twilight the movie.
On another note, I can't wait for the Super Bowl tomorrow!!! We are going to spend morning, noon, and night at Chad's dads. He has held the Super Bowl party ever since I have been with Chad and many a moons before I ever met him! Can't wait to be with family and close friends to watch our Cards!

I told you Jenni. It was horrible!! I am with you on seeing New Moon though. It's not suppose to be out til 2011 so this gives us plenty of time to recover.
Can't wait to see you all later!! I am dreading the fact that I might not be much fun, studied all night for my practical, let's just say I need about 20 more hours to study. UGH! Remember when I said I loved school ;)
Read my Blog- I TAGGED you. You're it!
I like it, because of the slightly mystical quality....but I HATED Bella. She definitely tried too hard & needs some acting lessons.
Here's hoping the next ones will be better.
i haven't seen it, nor do i have a desire to. i want edward and bella to stay how they are in my head, that's how i like them ;-) and besides, i have a feeling the movie couldn't capture what made me addicted to the series anyway - the absolute ELECTRICITY between the two. the chemistry was so amazing in words, there's no way they could portray that on film.
but at least you got a night out, woo hoo to that!
