Family Friday Night with lots to do!

So I am not a planner in advance type of person, it is hard to commit to anything these days, so much going on and some of it is so very last minute, but I am going to try! So I am putting an invite out to all that want to come:

Friday evening:
earlyish (is that even a word?) I am thinking 5-5:30. This will enable the mommies to get stuff done before the babies need to go to bed, trying to accommodate sleepy time schedules for the babies! Depending on who comes and how many we can figure out food and whether we want to do it potluck style or have something deli

For the mommies:
Hair bow and flower accessory making! Bring flowers and ribbon for all! I have lots of sequins, buttons, and some flowers and ribbon to share as well! I also have one glue gun, so if you have one, bring it with you! I will get more alligator clips from the beauty supply store, so we have something to decorate. We can make them for our girls and make some to share with each other! We all have our own style so it will be fun to see what everyone can come up with to share! Since we are in charge of our children (come on, we are the mommies after all), we can help each other with the kids too, as I am sure the daddies will be too busy!

For the daddies: There will be things for them to do as well, along with helping out with the kids of course, we can throw on the NCAA basketball tournament and they can have beer and boy time, but still share quality family time as well! Yippee for the girls at least, they might not like it! HA!

For the older kiddos: Kyan has a room filled with toys and movies that he would love to show off and share! Kids can also play outside!

Let me know if you want to join in on the fun! If so, throw out an idea on what you might be wanting to make/share so that we don't all bring the same thing!!! Candis has talked about making some black flowers which I think would be really cool and so her style! Again, that will be fun to see what everyone can do and share! Want to try and see if we can find some skull buttons or charms! Haven't had any luck yet...maybe someone else might know where to find them?! If you don't have a girl but you still want to come and hang out, please do! Maybe you have a niece or a friend's daughter that you could make one for! Should be a fun and creative early night for us!!!

Ok...You can call me the blog stalker!! I always read your blog through Colleen's. I have known Colleen since 1st grade! We have maybe even met before and do not even know it. The reason your blog has intrigued (sp) me is because our girls are so close in age. Lola is so adorable!! I would love to meet you and the girls one of these days...we for sure need to plan a play date...including Colleen! Take Care!! Congrats on the weight loss too!!

Thanks for the invite! I will check with Colleen about Friday night. I am a west side girl and wish Colleen was too! It is so hard to make my way that far east with 2 kids in tow. If we do not get a chance to meet Friday then we will have to plan something else again soon. Have a great day!!

Your craft day sounds like fun. Wish we could make it but we have dinner plans with Eric's partner & wife. Can't wait to see your end product. Have fun.
