Today was a very special day! My morning started out waking up to Lola by my side (wasn't feeling so hot last night so I had her sleep with me) and Kyan telling daddy to wake up (boys had a slumber party on the sectional) because the sun is up! No, he wasn't up with the birds, but if he wakes up and the sun is a shining, then everyone needs to get up with him! Daddy was on the couch so he was Kyan's first target! Lola and I went out to see what all the fuss was about and waiting for me was my mother's day present to open - LIPS for XBox 360. If you know anything about me right now, then you know that I am obsessed with RockBand and beg everyone to play it at the house - I even have to make bribes! Well, Chad and Kyan must have got sick of me begging and pleading and got me my own Karaoke game! Even has a little Chris Brown on there (despite everything that happened, I still love his songs)! So we played a little bit before we headed off to Chad's mom's house, where we got an hour to talk to his sister Kristen, who is serving on her mission in Paraguay. This talk was exciting because she actually comes home in 12 days!
Then it was off to pick up my mom and spend a little bit of time with her before she headed back home! She came on another quick visit - for mother's day, but also to check out the new house she and my dad bought out at Estrella! We shopped around the Biltmore and shared some ice cream and had a nice visit!
I love being a mom - my kids are the best and I am blessed to have them in my life! I love you Kyan and Lola!

That is a very cute picture of Mommy, Kyan, and Lo. Oh how I wished for that camera yesterday~ HA! Good thing we didn't get it. Our toilet broke and our big screen all on mother's day. Happy Day for me ;)
