On Thursday night I told the kids that as soon as they woke up on Friday morning, we were headed to our favorite spot to take some new pictures of them. They were all for it, dreaming of donuts and cinnamon rolls that may or may not have been promised to them as a reward! Just so happened that they woke up extra early Friday (odd for them this summer), and despite complaints from Kyan, whose video game playing may or may not have been threatened, we did get out of the house before 7:30 and were done with our mini photo session by 7:45!
I had plenty of shots that looked like the one below. When shooting my own kids, they pretty much don't love to cooperate and look at me like I might be a little crazy for making them sit a certain way or for tilting their heads so close together. They love to push and shove each other and constantly argue any chance they can squeeze it in.
But in those fifteen minutes of craziness (which is really I think how long a kids photo shoot should be most of the time), I was able to capture some magical pictures of the two of them together and by themselves.
I know they are my own, but I happen to think that these two are pretty cute!

Those are awesome photos. I have so many of my two looking like that first photo. Sometimes I wish my two (ages 16 & almost 13) were that age again.
Wished I took photos as great as you, I'd be taking my oldests Senior pic's myself in about a year. Or wished that we lived closer :)
So many fav's!! I am dying over the ones of Lo and her cute faces!!! Kyan seems very serious, mature and handsome :) ....Lola looks like mischievous little diva!! They are all beautfiul. My fave though of the two of them is the one of her hugging him from the back!!!
Love so many of these, but faves are b&w of Lola kinda' looking up at you with those eyelashes people (mainly I) would KILL for, and big color one of them together!
Can't wait to see some of these in the new frames in living room!
All of these pictures are fabulous but I love that one in the first collage on the top left of them looking at each other! And that close up of Lola's face is perfect too!
