Celebrating Independence Day

Yesterday was spent with family and friends! In attendance were:

The Garretts

The Swishers

The Roselands

Hannah and Andy (soon to be moving to AZ!)

Aunt Heidi and Grandma Donna

The Creels

The host and hostess with the most-ess, my parents! Thanks for having everyone out to your place! We had a blast!

Before the party got started, the Creels came over to my parents house to get Camden a little nap before we all headed to the pool! This is how Michael and I entertained each other! If you click on the picture, you can see the ridiculous faces we were making!)

Ok, so what you don't see is Camden eating the book! Where are those pictures Candis? For some reason this book looked mighty tasty and Camden decided to take a big bite out of one of its pages!!! Yummy - guess she wanted some Green Eggs and Ham!

Me and my babies

At 3 we headed to the pool to meet up and get everyone signed in!

Candis was getting ready to show off one of her Yoga poses in the water!

Kyan is usually the oldest kid at the party, but not yesterday! He was so excited to play with Frank's son, Xavier!

I took Lola down the slide, even though she was hollering - but then again, when doesn't she yell?! She is drama and that shoulda been her middle name! She has her "I" teeth, as Candis called them, coming in, so after the slide we had to take a much needed Motrin break!

Xavier sliding!

Chad enjoying the slides too!

Frank coming up for some air after he went under coming down the slide!

Watching everyone go down the slides!

Mommies got to break for a picture!
Chrissy, Susie, Me, and Candis

Camden braved the slide with daddy! Think Jayla did too, but I didn't catch a picture of that one!

All the babies in attendance!

Ok, we were trying to "position" the girls for the perfect photo, but this ended up being the best one! HA! Crazy mommies!

After three hours in the sun, we headed back to my parents house to BBQ!

Camden loves chillin' in her playpen! Although, she got down and dirty with JayLo last night!

Discovering the water from the fountain!

The Grillmaster last night! Thanks dad - the food was delicious!

At about 7:30 last night, Kyan threw in the towel! He was done-zo for the night and fell asleep right after I took this picture, curled up to daddy and grandma.

Jay showing off her kitty!

Playing peek-a-boo with Heidi, she ran around in circles too trying to get her great aunt's attention!

Drinking her juice like a doggy?!?

Camden loved the misters that Michael helped my dad put up before the party started! She was even trying to lick the water as it was coming out! Think she even licked some out of her daddies hair!

Lola knew Candis was looking for some snuggle time, as Camden limits hers, so she gave her some!

JayLo were so excited that Camden is almost 1 and more mobile! They got to show her the ropes of the backyard! She held her ground with the two of them quite nice!

My dad took all 3 girls to the fountain to explore! They loved it and were all splashing around!

Xavier and Chad

As if they weren't messy enough, Lola emptied out her juice box on the ground and then both girls proceeded to rub it around on the cement!

Jayla blowing kisses!

Camden using her snuggle ticket of the evening tonight on Susie! What a lovebug!

Thank you everyone for coming out and spending your July 4th with my family and I! We had an amazing time and hope to do it again next year!

What a fun day! All the kiddos were so well behaved, & it was just a perfect way to spend our 4th of July!

Ok, that yoga shot was embarassing! HAAA

I figured I'd post the book-eating pics on my blog for you!

I love the action photo of you & Lola going down the slide.

That 1 of Camden licking Michael's hair = HILARIOUS!

Your dad was the cutest thing I've ever seen, with the girls! I love Jear Bear. : )

That snuggle pic of Lola & I is too cute. She really liked me yesterday, huh?!

Thank you again for inviting us- I told your dad we should make it a tradition!

First off I stole like every picture! Especially since I didn't get many!!

I can't thank you and your family enough for their hospitality~ the pool day, to the yummy food, and great company. Your dad actually reminds me so much of Jearel. He is so social and you could totally tell he enjoyed every second of us all being there. Not to mention he is so great with the little ones.

This may be the best forth yet and you can bet the Garrett's are RSVPed for next year. Hopefully this will take place in your new house :), just as long as you keep the same grill-master!!

LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

My dad was in heaven last night! He loves to host and loves our friends and their children even more, he was definitely in his element last night! I talked to him after I got home and he said he hoped everyone had a great time and that he loved sitting outside in the backyard talking with everyone! He wouldn't have wanted it any other way!
