For the past two years, the school I work for has held an assembly honoring those with cancer. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, so it is themed around PINK in every way, shape, and form. We were asked to decorate our windows and show our love and support this week by wearing pink.
Hope is that thing
with feathers that perches in the
soul and sings the tune
without words and never stops...at all!

aw, that's so sweet. We were just talking about Brion the other day...laughing at memories of course.

Beautiful post, Jenni! It sounds like this was a very meaningful week for you, I'm glad you're class was able to participate!
how beautiful :)...i remember my granny and aunt ruby ....Rickeys mom died of breast cancer when i was 11...cant wait to find a cure so we dont have to lose anyone else in our lives!
I completely forgot to ask you how this went? I love your window and sign dedication to Brion. Emily Dickinson is one of my personal fav, so of course I loved her little poem on the window as well.
Weird (and maybe stupid) question, but somehow I always know it is breast cancer awareness month, but do they do that for other cancers as well?
Good job, Mrs. Roseland! I'd recognize that handwriting of yours at least a mile away. : )
I was SOO going to get Lola a pair of those slippers for her Birthday...but we literally bought the LAST pair! We even had the shop owner call down to the other location for more...and NO luck.
But, here is the link if you must have them sooner!: https://www.richfrog.com/view_ret_cate.php?cate=24
If you don't buy them, make sure to tell me!
Aw, i miss seeing pink everywhere!
