Vacation Day 2 - Legoland!

This year we were ready to take Kyan to his first theme park and decided that Legoland would be the coolest place for him to go - JACKPOT! Legoland was amazing and Kyan LOVED every ride that he went on! He was so patient in line (had to wait 30 minutes at most) and didn't complain once! He was in heaven! He went on most of the rides with his daddy (I was lucky enough to catch a boat ride with him), and Lola and I hung out and watched! She was fabulous at the park too and waited so well while brother enjoyed each and every ride! Lola loves being outside, so just being outdoors was good enough for her! She watched for him on the rides too and yelled out "Hi!" every time she saw him. It was really cute! All of the Star Wars characters were walking around the weekend that we went and Kyan loves them too - so not only did he get to go to Legoland, but he got to see all of the characters! He was happy just looking at them, but didn't want to get to close to take a picture with them.

Lola and I posing for a quick self-photo before our big day!

Watching and waiting for brother to drive by in his safari jeep!

This was the first ride that Kyan rode on and it set the tone for the entire day! He was so happy!

An attempt at a family photo - taken by Chad on our Fairy Tale ride. You will notice that somehow someone is always looking crazy during these family photos!

They built this Volvo out of legos! It was so cool! Too be that talented...how does one even know how to do such things? Glad they do, because their creations are amazing!

Lola thinking that she is cruising in her lego car! We were waiting for Chad and Kyan to finish up on one of the rides!

Cruising for real on the lego track for 3-5 year olds! Kyan handled his car very well, other kids, not so much!

SHARK!!!

My one and only ride with my boy! He handled the wheel yet again and didn't steer us wrong! I got to sit back and relax!

The boys on the pirate ship ride! They had water guns that they got to shoot at the crowd and other lego objects, the objects shot back along with the crowd of people watching! This was my favorite ride that I watched Kyan on!

After they got off the boats, Kyan and Chad were soaked and Kyan told me that he thinks they lost and got dominated! It was so funny!

Right after we attempted to take a decent family photo, Lola crashed out in her Lego stroller!

My babies in their jammies after our day at Legoland! They were ready for bed for sure!

Legoland looks so cool. Gotta save that trip for when Jayla is older or has a brother!! Kyan had a lot to say after that day. He was so cute about it.

Jay has those same PJ's as Lo, just with the kitty. Too funny!

I saw that place on Jon & Kate Plus 8 (don't tell anyone I still watch that), & your pics made it look like even more fun!
You look so SKINNY in that white top (arms looking good, mama.) How 'bout you bring it to the next level & come to Bikram with me?! 1,000 calories burned per class. Serious Biz.

Your vacation sounded like fun. There's nothing better than good old quality family time. Looks like the weather was nice too.

I'm originally from SoCal and we used to take all of the amusement parks for granted. We can't wait to take Matix once he can enjoy all of those places. I think we'll start with Disneyland on his birthday...especially since he and Eric would be free!

Legoland looks like fun. Let me know if you guys want to go to the Lego exhibit at the Science Center. My work sponsored a big part of it and I get to take guests for free in June & July.
